Alliance Mobilization:
We quickly advanced to tier 2 but have been stuck here for several runnings of the event, so let's work on getting 3rd or higher to move up to the next tier!

This event involves a lot of things you would do anyway, so the key to doing well at this event is as follows:
1) Choose those items you would do anyway. Do you train troops? Probably, so pick the troop power items.
2) Do you pay to play? If so, choose those items for additional rewards upon paying; if you don't pay, don't choose those items to complete.
3) IMPORTANT: Look at the color of the items and read them carefully. Blue is easiest, purple is medium, and yellow is hardest difficulty.
4) You are given 10 free attempts the first day of the event, then one each day after. You can also buy additional attempts, starting at 50 gems up to 1000 gems; it is appreciated if you do that (I will)
5) Refreshing is FREE! For general items, an R4 can refresh every 30 minutes. For your personal 200% / 120% boxes, refresh until you get really good items you can complete as quickly as possible with maximum points
6) DO NOT JUST CHOOSE AN ITEM WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT PLEASE. Check the requirements, the activity, just choosing an item you won't complete for days does not help the alliance nor yourself whatsoever

I have finished 1st in our alliance, so I'll share my strategies, but others, give me yours, too!
​
Troop training: Power requirement can range from 15000 to 120000. If you are pushing hard to train troops and have time to finish the yellow difficulty item, this is very doable and gives the most points. If you have enough attempts, you could do multiple troop items for even more points.
​
Gathering: I find this especially useful when I'm away from my phone (such as sleeping), choose the appropriate difficulty item (from 10000000 to 30000000 resource points) based on how long you want to gather. Yellow difficulty may require several runs of gathering to complete.

Top up: I haven't paid, but for paying people, choose these for additional rewards, but make sure the requirements are doable and not impossible.

Beasts: Pretty simple, choose the appropriate difficulty, from 5 to 30 beasts, based on how much time and governor stamina you have.
​
Terror: This is an awesome one in that, like gathering, you can complete it if you have auto-join on and join enough terror rallies created by others. This is one of my favorite items for this event, because if several of you have chosen this item, you all can complete it at once and give the alliance and yourself a lot of event points.

Speedups: This one, be VERY careful with. First of all, I recommend only 900 minutes; remember, that is 15 hours of speedups, which is quite a bit. So try to stay away from purple or yellow unless you have A TON of speedups. Second, there is a general purpose one, and several specific ones (research, troops, construction). Again, if it is available, choose the general purpose one, but if you just have a ton of speedups of one kind (such as research), go for the 900 minute version of that one.

Forgehammers: If you have mythic gear, choose this, but just be careful, because 35 forgehammers is a lot, whereas 10 is more doable.
​
Governor Gear: Like forgehammers, this is a more advanced level option, and just be careful to choose items that are doable and don't take too much gear to complete.
​
Gems: Pretty simple: Look at how many gems you have, how many you want to spend, and choose the appropriate item to complete the task. Use your gems on whatever you want!

Shards: I actually haven't completed this one, it says general shards don't apply, can someone help me type a tip for this one?
​
This might be the most important to take us to the next tier: Choose the 200% and 120% bonus items!!! These are specific to you, so refresh often to get items you want and do these before the general items available to everyone.
​
Speaking of refresh, myself and any R4 can refresh the general items every 30 minutes, so ask us to do so if you don't like the current selection. I personally refresh until I see items I'd want to complete (even if I don't actually choose them), but you might be looking for other items, so let myself or an R4 know so we can try to refresh until you get your item!

​Looking at screenshot above, I refreshed two top boxes to get 10 terror with 200% bonus and 15000 troop power increase with 120% bonus, two excellent items. In the general section, the blue beasts (5 beasts) and blue general speedup (900 minutes) are excellent also. With the red dot on the "+" plus sign, click that daily to add an additional free attempt!
