Kingshot: [TSL]TheShadowlands, Kingdom #1213
12/29/2025 - 01/04/2026: xth place Bronze III tier
Group Summary:
Players by tier:
Lane leaders: RandomGuy, kitty sanura1, Lady Kisa Sanura
Medalists: Leomistic, Thor79, UNM nu, lazarus1, KID BENGALA, Lord Dingleberry, ZippyBanana, Nealo, Naois
Officers: Ming Dynasty, Luciifer, MasterG, Lord Alex, evol, Kairo, Haumdaucha, Cheteen, Vitoschenko, coolidge
Max power team: 19814
Min power team: 7487
Mid power team: 14910
Alliance Championship: 12/31/2025 match 1
Result: Won 2-1: 12/20 us, 7/20 opponent, 7/20 us. 21 defeated (21 total).
Notes: GLD 1219, as this is our first match, there is A LOT of randomness. BUT, assuming we get a "fair" power opponent (an alliance similar to our 1.3 billion power), I'm going to prepare as follows.
Our main goal is to win two out of three lanes, so keep that in mind. To do that:
We can do a 3-lane balance approach. This would work against either an alliance that we simply outpower (maybe they don't have the 60 players we do) or if they go strong:moderate:weak (toss up at worst). We are in trouble if they go strong balance:strong balance:completely weak
We can do a strong balance:strong balance:completely weak approach. This essentially counters the 3-lane balance approach. I would recommend weak in left lane, but that's a completely random theory, that alliances tend to start with a weak right lane, but there is no proof to that.
We can do a moderate:strong:weak approach. This works on the theory that alliances fill up their strongest players in the middle, moderate in left lane, and weakest in right lane. This gives us the best chance to win all three flags, but also exposes us to losing all three flags if they use a similar strategy and simply outpower us.
Without coming up with a ridiculous number of options, I'll post these to an alliance poll (higher number = higher strength / power):
1) 2:2:2 (strength: opponent 2 weak lanes; weakness: opponent 2 strong lanes)
2) 1:2.5:2.5 (strength: opponent strong left lane; weakness: opponent eeks out left, one of other lanes)
3) 2.5:1:2.5 (strength: opponent strong middle lane; weakness: opponent eeks out middle, one of other lanes)
4) 2.5:2.5:1 (strength: opponent strong right lane; weakness: opponent eeks out right, one of other lanes)
5) 1:2:3 (strength: opponent strong left lane; opponent wins left and middle lanes)
6) 1:3:2 (strength: opponent strong left lane; opponent wins left and right lanes)
7) 2:1:3 (strength: opponent strong middle lane; opponent wins left and middle lanes)
8) 2:3:1 (strength: opponent strong right lane; opponent wins left and right lanes)
9) 3:2:1 (strength: opponent strong right lane; opponent wins middle and right lanes)
10) 3:1:2 (strength: opponent strong middle lane; opponent wins middle and right lanes)
After getting our opponent: Yes, similar alliance (1.3 billion power, 97 members, slightly newer kingdom). They also say things like have fun, so VERY similar alliance.
To keep other alliance from stealing information from this page, remaining discussion will remain in game alliance chat, see that for additional information.
Result: To keep things secret, we overwhelmingly voted option 3 (2.5:1:2.5) with a slight edge to our right lane in strength. As expected, we gave up the middle lane (sorry Lady Kisa Sanura, but thanks for being Mr. Spock), and we absolutely dominated the left and right lanes. Well deserved first match 1 win after we had been 0-3 after our change in management. Lots of positive momentum going into Match 2!
Alliance Championship: 12/31/2025 match 2
Result: Won 2-1: 20/20 us, 1/20 us, 1/16 opponent. 25 defeated (46 total).
Notes: POL 1209, won their first match 2:1 using 10:11:11. Here is the information we have from them:
Left lane (they lost):
400 560 620 712 723 894 907 1000 1010 1310
Middle lane (they won):

Right lane (they won):
370 451 619 716 814 890 (final 5 unknown)
From Lady Kisa Sanura:
They only have four that even come close to our top 6 (power players)
I am not going to post our strategy here for security, so see chat for details.
Info kept secret until after match:

Result: Well, they completely changed their formation from 10:11:11 to 0:16:16. UNM nu thought POL would possibly change to 1:2:3 or 3:2:1, but even with them changing to 0:3:3, TSL simply had too many players for POL to deal with and UNM nu kept middle and right lanes balanced in anticipation of any changes from POL to win match. Not the 3 lanes UNM nu wanted, but a 2-1 win thanks to an amazing effort by the middle lane. Congrats all!
Alliance Championship: 01/01/2025 match 3
Result: DEE 1-2: 10/20 opponent, 9/20 us, 5/20 opponent. 25 defeated (71 total).
Notes: [DEE]zNutz 1219, I like the following info from Lady Kisa Sanura: DEE had four power players but none that should overpower our top 5 like POL did. For reference, I mistook what Kisa said with our last opponent and that top four power statement. POL had an insane power player, 2077 power, the most I've seen. We still won that lane thanks to good strategy.
But back to DEE and strategy: First match they went 20:4:4. Second match 20:20:20 winning all three lanes. So CLEARLY they weren't prepared match 1 but super prepared match 2.
Match 1, their highest power was: 953:1203:853. Their match 2 composition is as follows:
Left Lane:
816 831 839 846 846 855 876 882 890 892 914 917 935 953 979 (last 5 players unknown)
Middle Lane:
816 823 835 839 846 853 868 881 884 890 894 914 920 (last 7 players unknown)
Right Lane:
659 663 673 693 700 and that's it
Going back to match 1 for more info on players not in match 2:
942 from left lane; 708, 750, 1203 middle lane; 605, 776 right lane.
This is a really tough one to prepare for based on limited information on their players in event (21 unknown players), massive changes with our opponent match 1 to 2, and so many variables / unknowns. But let's try something.
If we try to list their 60 players, weak to strong, knowing J Rez, power 1203, and the strongest player in their alliance, has already been identified, let's play with this:
Weak 20 (power 15426):
605 659 663 673 693 700 708 750 776 816 816 823 831 835 839 839 846 846 853 855
Mid 20 (power 18431):
868 876 881 882 884 890 890 892 894 914 914 917 920 935 942 953 979 1000 1000 1000
Strong 20 (power 20203):
19 1000s, 1203
Our stats:
Max power team: 19814
Min power team: 7487
Mid power team: 14910
Guessing (and overestimating) the power of our opponent, we still have a real chance to win this based on the following: If they set up Weak:Mid:Strong and we set up Mid:Strong:Weak, we are looking at the following power matchups: 14910 TSL v 15426 DEE, which is definitely winnable based on all the other variables. 19814 TSL v 18431 DEE, a win for us. We are giving up the 7487 TSL v 20203 DEE lane. So going 2-1 is obviously doable, not to mention the limited info on their actual players.
UNM nu is going to do a poll giving TSL a chance to decide where to put the strong lane, mid lane, and weak lane. UNM nu is guessing a 1:3:2 formation is best, but with so many variables, a vote is probably the best way to go here. A win gives us the group, while a loss doesn't eliminate us at all, so I'm going to look at this as a bonus match with only positive outcomes regardless of what actually happens.
UNM was able to come up with a lane power configuration of 7487:18827:15897. This would counter their power configuration of 20203:18431:15426. Of course this is all theoretical, but any feedback is welcome to try to win this Match 3.
Result: We lost the left lane as expected and won the middle as expected, but got dominated in the right lane. They STARTED their left lane with a 816 power player, so we played this lane perfectly with all of our weaker players. They moved their weak lane to face our strong middle lane, so that was unfortunate. Their right lane was just tough, starting with a 816 player. Players like kitty sanura1 were able to win their matches with strength, but DEE just overwhelmed us in this lane. If we had swapped our middle and right lanes we might have had a chance, but this was a very tough alliance to play.
Alliance Championship: 01/01/2025 match 4
Result: Won 3-0: 3/20 us, 4/20 us, 14/20 us. 41 defeated (112 total).
Notes: wtf WanttoFight 1216, the only team with zero points, so we REALLY need to win this match to set up a pivotal match 5 in the group, as there is a four-way tie for first right now. Match 1 & 2: 15:20:5. Match 3: 19:20:5. Therefore, some substitutes from match 2 entered the starting lineup for match 3. Here are their players from Match 3:
Left lane (11800):
77 168 189 241 269 309 356 424 749 765 821 847 847 858 872 942 948 949 1169
Middle lane (11242):
55 73 132 326 391 392 444 517 545 575 581 603 618 749 750 768 790 826 865 1242
Right lane:
63 470 536 602 732
It does look like all they did is shift players from their middle lane to their left lane, with no other changes. Based on this, I recommend the following:
Right lane: our 20 weakest players to overwhelm their right lane with only 5 players.
Left & middle lane: Balanced, kitty sanura to take on their 1169, RandomGuy to take on their 1242
Result: Absolutely convincing victory 3-0 as expected. Onto the last match with us entering in 2nd place, congrats all! We ended up fairly balanced with the right lane mod power to get more defeated, ending up with 41 defeats out of a possible 44 opponents, that's very strong all!
Alliance Championship: 01/02/2025 match 5
Result: Won 3-0: 6/20 us, 4/20 us, 7/20 us. 26 defeated (138 total).
Notes: uNO killersAcademy 1207, 10:16:11 all four matches. Lane configuration from match 2:
Left lane:
64 359 428 490 542 561 660 684 723 755
Middle lane:
149 360 412 490 502 746 784 792 799 810 815 840 855 896 967 1016
Right lane:
360 429 506 575 638 713 749 763 780 869 950
